About Me

Hey there! I'm a 22-year-old Media Production and Digital Arts student with a passion for film. I direct, produce, and edit to create immersive cinematic experiences. My love for film started in childhood, and now my goal is to craft films that offer an escape. Join me in turning imagination into reality, one frame at a time!

I've undergone comprehensive training in Photography, Film, Animation, and radio.

My journey into the realm of film is deeply personal. Since childhood, film has been my refuge, providing an escape during the challenges of growing up and grappling with my identity as a gay individual, a journey I'm still navigating.

Cafe Visonaire

No Son of Mine is an LGBTQ story. Rígan, a child who was abused and cast out attends their late fathers funeral. Only to be followed home by their past traumas.

The Gaza Monolouges, are a collective of monolouges written by Gazan theater students. The pieces here are read out by Irish theater students to spread the message of the atrocities taken place over seas.

Where Do We Go is a film of grief, acceptance and family. As Molly makes her way to her brother Sam’s funeral, Sam appears to aid her in the process of the stages of grief.

Café Visionaire is a drama piece produced by Tallaght Community Arts. It follows the story of cafe staff that are not happy with their current work enviorment, So they take the power into their own hands.

Summary

No Son of mine is my first short film that I wrote and directed. A story of self acceptance and past trauma all through the lens of horror.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind the film comes from the difficulties of coming out as part of the LGBTQ community. A reality that can be likened to a horror for some. My aims were to create a piece that shows love and self acceptance, without gloryfing abuse and hate. To do this i ensured Rígan, the main character, is surrounded by love and a selected family. Allowing them to come to terms and realise that they did not need their fathers approval, no matter how comfoting that would have been.

Summary

In 2010, Ashtar Theatre, together with partnering theatres from all over the world, decided that it was time to make the voices of our children in Gaza heard and let at least their monologues travel to known places and be heard from people outside their prison Gaza.

Inspiration

Tallaght Community Arts participated in the global initiative by staging their own production back in 2018.

Now 6 years on, and with the crisis in Gaza worsening on a daily basis TCA decided to respond with:

The Gaza Monologues

Summary

On the way to a funeral, Molly and her younger brother Sam take an unexpected detour to the lakeshore, what was once the backdrop to so many of their childhood memories. As a pair, they navigate loss and acceptance and the true nature of their trip becomes all-too-apparent. Molly and Sam are faced with a harsh reality, moving on.

Inspiration

The film is inspired by a phone conversation she overheard in 2016 between her Grandmother and Grandfather (or how her would say, my Nanny and Granddad). At the time, She knew my Nanny was in hospital unwell. But what she didn't know was that she would pass away that week. This was the last conversation she witnessed between her grandparents, it could have been the last one that they ever had. Since that conversation, She has always wondered if her grandmother knew what was going to happen to her, if she was scared or at peace. Where Do We Go? came from all of the questions she had about that conversation, and what may have happened beyond that.
